Our family has a tradition of getting together every year. This time, my brother suggested Vietnam. About ten people from different cities – Võru, Tartu, Tallinn, and one even from Finland.
We organized the visas so that everyone applied on the same day. For some, it took three days, for others, four. Everyone got them before the trip, no one was left behind.
We spent a week on the beach in Nha Trang. We swam, ate seafood, told stories. In the evenings, there was live music and dancing. Better than a hotel in Spain, said my aunt. Next year, we’re thinking of Asia again.
