I worked at the Narva factory for two years. I saved money and went on a trip. The plan was simple – Southeast Asia for three months, starting in Vietnam. I had to get a visa because you can’t just go like that with a Russian passport.

The e-visa was a cheap option. I applied and got it in three days. First stop Hanoi, then by bus to the south. I stayed in hostels, ate street food. It cost maybe twenty euros a day, if that.

Vietnam is what I remember the most. The people were kind, nature was beautiful, the food was diverse. Three months were up and I came home. Out of money, but the experiences were priceless. I’m already planning the next trip.
